FUNCTION: IsO - test whether the argument is an element of the orthogonal Schur basis

CALLING SEQUENCE:

IsO(expr)

TYP[IsO](expr)

PARAMETERS:

expr = any expression

SYNOPSIS:

• The IsO function tests whether the argument expr is an element of the orthogonal Schur basis, that is O[part] where part denotes a partition in non-increasing order.

• Whenever there is a conflict between the function name IsO and another name used in the same session, use the long form TYP['IsO'].

EXAMPLES:
