Call for papers and posters.
Call for contributions to the open problem session and software demonstration


Papers and Posters

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts of at most twelve pages by November 15, 2000

A special session will be dedicated to the work of Rodica Simion. Co-authors of Rodica Simion are encouraged to send a poster presentation of their joint work. The prefered way of submission is through the ``submission server'' of the conference. It is available at the http address:

If an author is not able to use the submission server, he/she can either send one single postcript file to the address

or send four hard copies of the extended abstract to the following address:

The submitted papers should contain a summary in English and in one of the other official language of the conference (translations will be provided if necessary). Authors should indicate the mode of presentation which they consider appropriate for their paper, i.e. lecture or poster session. The notifications of acceptance or rejection are scheduled for January 15, 2001.


Open problem session

Contributions to the problem session are invited in advance of the conference date. People interested in submitting a problem should submit it as described above, before May 1, 2001.

Software demonstration

Demonstrations of software relevant to the topics of the conference are encouraged. People interested in giving a software demonstration should submit a paper, including the hardware requirements, as described above, before January 15, 2001.
