xabstract = {Lexicon-Grammar tables are a very rich syntactic lexicon for the French language. This
linguistic database is nevertheless not suitable for use by computer programs, as it is incomplete and
lacks consistency. Our goal is to adapt the tables, so as to make them usable in various Natural Language
Processing (NLP) applications. We describe the problems we encountered and the approaches we followed to
enable their integration into a parser.},

xabstract = {Lexicon-Grammar tables are a very rich syntactic lexicon for the French language. This
linguistic database is nevertheless not directly suitable for use by computer programs, as it is incomplete
and lacks consistency. Tables are defined on the basis of features which are not explicitly recorded in the
lexicon. These features are only described in literature. Our aim is to define for each tables these essential
properties to make them usable in various Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications, such as parsing.}

xabstract = {Lexicon-Grammar tables, whose development was initiated by (Gross, 1975), are
a very rich syntactic lexicon for the French language. This paper presents the work done to
formalize the existing classification of verbs using logical formulas, in order to maintain the
lexicon. We describe the different types of definitional features and their coding in the table of
classes, which is composed by all the features of all classes of verbs. The formal definition of
all the defining features for each class has to consider the classification with a decision tree
to help finding the class associated with a new entry, which ensures the future extension of the
lexicon.},
